Founded in 1941 by Hamdi Dalan in a workshop in Izmir's Namazgah sector, the Dalan brand was established on the foundations of traditional 100% pure olive oil soap production. In 1976, the Dalan family transformed this workshop into Dalan Kimya Endustri A.S. Dalan then began modern soap and glycerine production in its new Pinarbasi facilities in Izmir in 1981, and expanded into cosmetics manufacturing in 2006.
